Start the day at Rjukanbadet - a sure winner for the whole family. Here you'll find a brand new outdoor section for both big and small, with a children's pool and accompanying play area, wellness pool, flow channel, counter-current jets, heat globe and bubble beds.
Indoors, Rjukanbadet boasts
a family section with a play pool and training pool
a youth section with 1, 3 and 5-meter diving boards
a climbing wall
six 25-meter swimming lanes and 2 slides
a heated pool, massage jets and a hot tub
steam bath and sauna
a cafeteria, solarium, and exercise room.
2 km West of Rjukanbadet, you'll find Krossobanen. Krossobanen is a cable car consisting of two cabins; Tyttebæret and Blåbæret. The trip up takes about 5 minutes.
Maybe you're lucky enough to get to be a conductor and operate the car all by yourself. You get your name on a certificate and therefore have proof that you are an "approved car driver" on Krossobanen - Rjukan.
