|Length||Difficulty||Time (no breaks)|
|3 km round trip||Medium||1 hour|
Child-friendly hike in beautiful mountain range with 360-degree panoramic view towards Hardangervidda, Gaustatoppen, Møsstrond and Rauland.
Sherpas from Nepal has built a beautiful stone path up to the lookout point. Falkeriset has been named after the capture of the falcons in the area. The trip is suitable for people from 2 to 90 years old. The kids love to jump from stone to stone!
The trip starts on a stone staircase at the parking lot at Kromvikvegen. Steintrappa makes the trail easy to follow. There is steady climb all the way through the mountain birch forest and up to the viewpoint of the snaufjellet. If you do not go outside the trail, but follow stone stairs, you save nature for wear and prevent new, muddy paths.
